Downsizing

If you are needing to move to a smaller dwelling for example a smaller house, apartment or a retirement village, this can cause conflict and stress. You have spent years collecting special items and treasures. How do you possibly let them go? How do you choose what to keep, what to take to your new place, donate to charity, sell or give away? Also what will fit into your new place and what won’t? I can take the stress out of your move by working with you and solving these problems as they arise.

Experience:

I have many years experiences downsizing and managed all types of moves. You are in very safe hands.

Measure up:

I am more than happy to come to your new place to go over the floorplan and measure up what will work and fit.

Selling Goods:

I can also help you sell your unwanted furniture, antiques and the items from your house and shed. I have vast contacts with Auction houses, antique dealers and I am very good at selling goods online. Transportation to sell these items is no problem as I have amazing and careful removalists if needed. A recent deceased estate made many thousands from the household items sold at the Auction house. This was well beyond expectations.

Personally come and pack and organise your belongings:

I can personally come and pack and organise your belongings and support you through the whole process. I can organise as much or as little as you like.

Interstate families are no problem:

Interstate families often phone me to help their parents in Adelaide. Interstate families often have busy lives and work commitments and it’s not always possible to stay for the length of time it takes to deClutter and pack up a household and move to the new place.

Communicate Constantly:

I communicate constantly with you and all the necessary family members through phone calls, email, facetime and sending photos.

Meet the new owners:

I can also meet the new owners when you sell your place and take the keys to them.

Happy to transport you and your pets:

I am more than happy to drive you and your pets to your new place (I love animals).

Client medication is top priority:

When moving a client medication is top priority and I organise this so that your family member are kept safe and healthy and they know where everything is during the move.

Declutter:

I will help you at your own pace to decide what to keep, what to give to charity, what to sell and what will fit into your new house.

Personal Shopping:

I can take you on a personal shopping trip to buy new furniture to fit your new home. Together we can create a new look and maybe a whole new colour scheme to create the homely feel.

Homestyling:

With all your treasures coming to your new home I can help you unpack and style to suit your lifestyle.

Enjoyment:

Your enjoyment and happiness is what drives me. With many happy clients who can testify to their joy of walking into their new home styled just the way they like it.

VIP Treatment:

Things happen and I can take over. One client ended up in hospital during her downsizing move, so I made sure the move happened smoothly. I took the house settlement paperwork to the hospital for her to sign. We had already done the declutter and the truck had taken the belongings she was selling to the Auction house. I packed up her belongings, organised the move and unpacked and styled her new place so when she came out of hospital she was thrilled and incredibly relieved with the outcome.
